Hello:) I've been a little quiet on social media and sending you email updates lately. I've been in the studio in Brisbane writing and recording album #4! The new 10 track album is due for release this year and I think it's the best one yet ;) We recently wrapped up a two-day music video shoot in my home-town of Wanaka, NZ and I'm excited to share some exclusive behind-the-scenes content with you throughout this email. We filmed in some amazing locations around Wanaka and Lake Hawea. The shot above was taken on-location at the very last scene of the two-day shoot. We literally hiked up a mountain to capture some amazing running footage symbolising empowerment for both men and woman when life kicks you down. The music video that this scene will feature in is all about getting back up off the ground and using the pain life sometimes throws at you to fuel your fire and keep fighting (i.e. get to the top of that mountain!). This will be the second single off the new album.
Massive thanks to NZ High Country Stables for allowing me to borrow their massive fur-baby "Max" for one of the video scenes. Max is probably one of the biggest horses I've ever ridden in my life. I've always wanted to share my love for horses in one of my music videos and this was the perfect opportunity. This scene is for the same video as the mountain run scene, it captures a sense of fearlessness which is the strong message this new song portrays. Over the years I've learnt how important it is to remind ourselves on a daily basis that life is very short and we are all very vulnerable - therefore it's so important to live life fearlessly because if you don't, more often than not it can hold you back from doing the things you dream of and living life to the full. When life kicks you down, the quicker you can 'let go' of your circumstances and move on 'fearlessly' the faster your situation and happiness will improve.
The above image was taken during shooting scene one for what will be single #1 to be released in 1-2 months time. Huge thank you to my partners GWD MOTOR GROUP for their on-going support. The blue beast (a.k.a Toyota Hilux) features in single #1 and she played her role well ;)

Here's a classic selfie taken on location for single #1 shot at Dampers Bay on the shore-line of Lake Wanaka. This scene involved a campfire, a lover boy, toasting marshmallows and drinking whiskey!
