North Queenslands Rockin' Country Music Festival

Country Music Festival release line up!


LEE KERNAGHAN, Graeme Connors, Troy Cassar-Daley and The Wolfe Brothers are just a few of the big acts that will be performing at Mackay’s inaugural country music festival this year.

Tickets have been released today along with the full line up for QCCS presents NQ’s Rock’n Country music festival being held in August, later this year.

Event organiser, Geoff Baguley from Yeehaa Events said that the interest that he received from artists was overwhelming with so many enquiries about performing at the event. “It just goes to show how much talent we hold, not just in Australia but in North Queensland. “We have extended the festival to be a three-day event as this allowed us to be able to have more performers for the duration of the weekend,” said Mr Baguley.

The full line up for the event includes headliners Lee Kernaghan, Graeme Connors, Troy Cassar-Daley and The Wolfe Brothers. Along with Sara Storer Shane Nicholson Fanny Lumsden Adam Harvey James Blundell Sunny Cowgirls Jasmine Rae Jayne Denham. Deep Creek Road, Christie Lamb, Brad Butcher, Melanie Dyer, Jody Direen, Cass Hopetoun, Raechel Whitchurch. Luke Geiger, Route 33, Tommy Contor, Damien Agius, Keely Johnson. Alyssa Brache, Lloyd Saunders, Zoe McLellan.


“We are expecting tickets to sell quickly, we have received a lot of interest through our Facebook page and there was also a high percentage of those who bought tickets last year keep them for the 2021 event.

“Numbers will be capped to comply with COVID restrictions, so we are encouraging people to buy early to secure tickets,” said Mr Baguley.

Country music artist Jayne Denham said with the festival being on hold for over a year, the band and herself are excited to bring not only new music, but a killer new show.

“NQ strap yourselves in, live music is back and it’s going to be big”, said Ms Denham. Anyone who purchases a three-day event ticket before the end of March will also go into the draw to win one of 50 Meet and Greet tickets.

The Meet and Greet tickets include a meet and greet opportunity with each of the headliners over the three days.

QCCS manager Craig Bogaarts stated that they are very proud to support Mackay’s first three-day country music festival.

“With the outstanding mix of artists, and those behind the scenes bringing this event to life, it promises to be an event worth adding to your social calendar,” said Mr Bogaarts. Tickets can be purchased from the NQ’s Rock’n Country website.
