The Contact Alexandra Blossom Festival is excited to announce Vodafone NZMA Tui winner Jody Direen will be performing at this year's festival.
With performances at some of Australasia’s biggest festivals under her belt - including supporting Kenny Rogers on his last New Zealand tour and touring Australia’s first ever C2C Festival last year alongside international greats Tim McGraw, Kelsea Ballerini, The Midland and more - Jody will be coming to the Blossom Festival hot on the heels of the recent release of her latest album ‘Smokin’ Ashes’
“For me, Blossom Festival resembles the ultimate Kiwi day out for families, couples and groups of mates. It has something for everyone and it’s always been one of my favourite NZ festivals to perform at. It’s always full of fun, smiling, happy people and I think everyones needs their extra dose of that during these crazy times!” says Jody.
“Growing up in Wanaka, Blossom Festival was always an annual calendar event for my family and I have fond childhood memories of time spent at Blossom Festival, the pink candy floss was always such a treat! I’m really looking forward to stepping onto the Blossom stage this September.”
Blossom Festival event Manager Martin McPherson said the country music songstress was always a crowd-pleaser and he was “excited” to have her perform at this year's festival.
Tickets are available on the gate for $9 with children under 5.
